Strap-shaped Coral – Clavariadelphus ligula

Mushrooms of Dumoine River

This strange-shaped coral appeared in the pine forest on the bank of Dumoine River in August. It was very abundant in August and Septmber, but even in October its fruit bodies were still present in the coniferous woods with the forest floor covered by pine needles.
