Description
Join Holarctic Bridges for a small-group guided nature walk focused on observing forest habitats, and seasonal biodiversity in the field, including plants, animals, fungi.
This outdoor learning experience is designed for nature enthusiasts, beginner mushroom observers, and anyone interested in learning more about local forest ecosystems. During the walk, participants will explore the natural habitats and their inhabitants in Larose forest, they also will learn about mushrooms and fungi in local forests, and how fungi are connected to forest health, biodiversity, and ecological processes.
The walk will be led by an experienced field biologist and will focus on observation, identification principles, ecology, and responsible field practices.
What to Expect

Price: Adults 35 CAD per person, children 8-17 year – 20 CAD per person
What to Bring
Please wear comfortable outdoor clothing and footwear suitable for walking on natural trails. Participants may wish to bring water, a notebook, a camera or phone, and weather-appropriate layers.

Participants should not consume any wild mushrooms unless identification has been confirmed by a qualified expert and proper safety guidance has been followed. Holarctic Bridges is not responsible for personal mushroom collection, consumption, or use after the event.
